Analytical Value Sum Chart

The Analytical Value Sum Chart widget is designed to calculate and display the total (sum) of a selected metric over a specified time range. Additionally, users can choose to display the minimum, maximum, or average values for enhanced insights. This widget is ideal for monitoring cumulative data, such as total production, energy consumption, or revenue, over time.

  • Metric and Organizational Unit Selection: Choose specific metrics and organizational units to analyze.
  • Time Range Customization: Define the time range for analysis (e.g., last 7 days, last 30 days).
  • Rounding Control: Specify the precision of the displayed data by setting the number of decimal places.
  • Additional Values: Optionally display minimum, maximum, or average values alongside the total sum.

Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up the Analytical Value Sum Chart

  1. Navigate to Dashboards.
  2. Click on the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Click on the Add Widget icon.
  4. Select Analytical Value Sum Chart and click Next.
  5. Fill out the following fields:
    • Metric: Select the metric you want to analyze (e.g., Electricity, Heat).
    • Organizational Unit: Choose the organizational unit to narrow down the scope of data analysis.
    • Widget Name: Enter a descriptive name for the widget (e.g., "Total Sales").
    • Time Range: Specify the time range for the analysis (e.g., "Last 7 Days").
    • Rounding: Set the number of decimal places for the displayed values (e.g., 2).
  6. (Optional) Enable additional values:
    • Minimum: Display the minimum value over the selected time range.
    • Maximum: Display the maximum value over the selected time range.
    • Average: Display the average value over the selected time range.
  7. Click Submit to finalize the widget setup.
  8. Click Save to apply the widget to your dashboard.

Your Analytical Value Sum Chart is now configured and ready to provide cumulative insights and additional statistical data for better decision-making.
