The Analytical Donut Chart widget provides a circular visualization of data, breaking down a metric into proportional segments. This chart is ideal for representing parts of a whole, such as the contribution of organizational units to a total or the distribution of categories over a specified time range.

Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up the Analytical Donut Chart

  1. Navigate to Dashboards.
  2. Click on the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Click on the Add Widget icon.
  4. Select Analytical Donut Chart and click Next.
  5. Fill out the following fields for the first chart:
    • Metric: Select the metric you want to analyze (e.g., revenue, production volume).
    • Aggregation Type: Choose the method of aggregation for the metric (e.g., average, sum, count).
    • Organizational Unit: Select the organizational unit to narrow down the scope of data.
  6. (Optional) Add additional donut charts:
    • Click Add Donut Chart to include another set of metrics or organizational units.
  7. Enter the following details:
    • Widget Name: Provide a descriptive name for the widget (e.g., "Revenue Distribution").
    • Time Range: Specify the time range for the analysis (e.g., "Last 7 Days").
  8. Click Submit to finalize the widget setup.
  9. Click Save to apply the widget to your dashboard.
