Reason Codes
Introduction
The Reason Codes feature enables users to configure and manage reason codes at the subscription level. These codes help categorize and track factors affecting equipment performance, availability, and quality. This feature provides flexibility to adapt plant-specific subcategories and reason codes while maintaining platform-level integrity.
Functionalities

Reason Code Management
- Creation: Admins can create new reason codes using predefined models.
- Editing: Modify existing reason codes' properties, such as name, ID, factor type, and color.
- Deletion: Remove obsolete reason codes from the subscription.

Reason Code Groups
- Organize reason codes into groups for easier management and reporting.
- Use parent-child relationships for hierarchical categorization.

Filtering and Viewing
- Apply filters based on name and factor type to navigate through reason codes efficiently.
- View reason code properties, including the associated model and factor type.

Factor Type Selection
- Associate reason codes with one of the following predefined factor types:
- Running
- Schedule
- Availability
- Performance
- Quality
- Undefined

Process Flow

Creating a Reason Entity
- Navigate to the Reason Codes section.
- Click Create Reason Entity.
- Enter required details:
- Name: Specify a descriptive name for the entity.
- Model: Select the appropriate model (e.g.,
OEE Reason Code
). - Reason Code ID: Assign a unique identifier.
- Factor Type: Choose a factor type.
- Color: Assign a color for visual distinction.
- Click Submit.

Editing a Reason Entity
- Select a reason entity from the list.
- Click Edit Reason Entity.
- Modify the required fields.
- Save the changes.

Deleting a Reason Entity
- Select the reason entity.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm the deletion.

Filtering Reason Codes
- Use the Advanced Filter option.
- Input the filter criteria:
- Name
- Factor Type
- Apply the filter to refine the list.
