Analytical Pareto Chart

The Analytical Pareto Chart widget is a specialized bar chart used to visualize the 80/20 principle, where a few factors often contribute to the majority of an outcome. It organizes data in descending order, with thresholds to highlight significant contributors, making it ideal for prioritization and root-cause analysis.

Key Features

  • Metric and Organizational Unit Selection: Choose specific metrics and organizational units to analyze.
  • Aggregation Options: Define how data points are aggregated (e.g., average, sum, count).
  • Descending Order Visualization: Automatically sorts data from highest to lowest value.
  • Thresholds: Highlight key values with custom labels and colors for better prioritization.
  • Granularity Settings: Specify the time granularity (e.g., day, week) to control the level of detail.

Use Cases

  • Performance Prioritization: Identify top-performing or underperforming categories, processes, or units.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Focus on the critical few contributors to an issue.
  • Resource Allocation: Optimize resources by targeting the highest-impact areas.
