The Action Management Widget is a highly interactive tool designed to help users organize, track, and manage actions based on the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. It allows users to efficiently sort, update, and visualize action items in an intuitive, board-like format, enabling better task management and continuous improvement processes.

Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up the Action Management Widget​

  1. Navigate to Dashboards.
  2. Click on the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
  3. Click on the Add Widget icon.
  4. Select Action Management Widget and click Next.
  5. Fill out the following fields:
    • Widget Name: Enter a descriptive name for the widget (e.g., "Task Tracker").
    • Action List: Select the action list you want to link to the widget.
    • Sort By: Choose how to sort the action items (e.g., New - Old, Old - New, Planned end date).
  6. Assign Default States for each stage:
    • Inbox: Select the default state for unprocessed or new actions.
    • Plan: Assign the default state for tasks in the planning phase.
    • Do: Set the default state for tasks in execution.
    • Check: Choose the default state for review or evaluation tasks.
    • Act: Select the default state for tasks that require adjustments or follow-up actions.
  7. Click Submit to finalize the widget setup.
  8. Click Save to apply the widget to your dashboard.

Your Action Management Widget is now ready, providing an organized and interactive way to track actions through the PDCA cycle and improve task management workflows.
