Operations with Organisation Units

This section describes all operations that a Tenant user can perform with Organisation Units.

Create an Organisation Unit

Create an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Click Add Root Unit.
  4. Enter a name for the new Organisation unit into the Name field.
  5. Click Save.

Add a member to an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit to add a member to.
  4. Click Add Member.
  5. Select users to assign as members to this Organisation unit.
  6. Click Save.

Delete a Member from an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit to delete a member from.
  4. Click X next to the member you want to delete.
  5. Confirm deletion.

Add a Role to an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit to add a role to.
  4. Click Add Role.
  5. Select roles to assign to this Organisation unit.
  6. Click Save.

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit to delete a role from.
  4. Click X next to the role you want to delete.
  5. Confirm deletion.

Edit an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit you want to edit.
  4. Right-click and select Edit.
  5. Enter the new name for the Organisation unit into the Name field.
  6. Click Save.

  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit you want to delete.
  4. Right-click and select Delete.
  5. Confirm deletion.

Add a Sub-Unit to an Organisation Unit

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the Organisation unit you want to add a sub-unit to.
  4. Right-click and select Add Sub-Unit.
  5. Enter a name for the new sub-unit into the Name field.
  6. Click Save.

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Select MDI > Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the sub-unit to add a member to.
  4. Click Add Member.
  5. Select users to assign as members to this sub-unit.

  2. Select MDI > Administration > Organisation Units.
  3. Select the sub-unit to add a role to.
  4. Click Add Role.
