The secondary key refers to the secondary authentication key used to authenticate a device in IoT Central. Like the primary key, the secondary key is unique to each device and is generated by the platform during the device registration process. The secondary key is used as a backup to the primary key and can be used to authenticate the device if the primary key is compromised or needs to be changed.
