Widgets

A widget is a configurable, self-contained element within a dashboard designed to display relevant information about manufacturing processes. Widgets possess native browser compatibility for full-screen viewing. Several widgets are available for use, as detailed in the sections below.

Rich text document widget​

This widget enables users to input and display rich text content. Hosts can define the widget title, label and colour.

Calendar widget​

This widget facilitates the monitoring of calendar events. Hosts can customise the widget title, label, colour, and calendar events. Each event is represented by a textual description of the event type and is assigned a unique colour. Hosts can determine whether an event will accept user input (by checking the Allow Input checkbox) or remain read-only.

Table widget​

This widget enables users to display data in a table. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour and data source.

Bar chart widget​

This widget enables users to display data as a bar chart. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour, bar chart type and data source. The supported bar chart types are vertical, horizontal and stacked.

From the Select data for X axis menu, you can select which field from the data source to display on the x-axis. The Label for X axis field allows you to define a custom label for the x-axis. Similarly, the Label for Y axis field enables you to define a custom label for the y-axis. The Select Y axis start type option lets you define the following start types:

  • Automatic: the start value will be the minimum value with a minor offset

  • Manual: the start value is defined by user input in the Select Y axis start value field

You can also define a second y-axis on the right-hand side of the widget. The Label for Y axis field in the Second Y Axis section defines the label for this second y-axis. You can define either automatic or manual start types using the Select Y axis start type option in the same way as described above.

The Column definition section defines the appearance of the vertical columns in the bar chart. You can select the column name from the Column name dropdown menu, which depends on the available selections in the dataset chosen earlier. The Select color field allows you to choose the colour for that column. You can define whether a particular column will be displayed on the second y-axis by checking the checkbox in the Second Y axis column.

You can add an extra column and configure it in the same way as described above by clicking Add column.

You can also add threshold columns by selecting the column name that will be used for the threshold from the Column name field and assigning it a colour. By clicking Add threshold, you can add an extra threshold and configure it in the same way as described above.

Line chart widget​

This widget enables you to display data as a line chart. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour, bar chart type and data source.

From the Select data for X axis menu, you can select which field from the data source to display on the x-axis. The Label for X axis field allows you to define a custom label for the x-axis. Similarly, the Label for Y axis field enables you to define a custom label for the y-axis. The Select Y axis start type option lets you define the following start types:

Mixed chart widget​

This widget enables users to display data in a combination of bar and line charts. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour, bar chart type and data source.

The chart type is defined by the selection in the Chart type menu of the Column Definition section.

Power BI widget​

This widget enables users to display data from Power BI. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour and define the data source by using the embedded URL within an iFrame.

Power Point widget​

This widget enables users to display data from PowerPoint. Hosts can define the widget title, label, colour and define the data source by using the embedded URL within an iFrame.

Action List Widget​

Exclusive to tenants, the Action List widget allows Tenants to customise the title, label, colour, and action list to be displayed within the widget. This widget presents the curated action list for easy access and organization.

User Action List Widget​

The User Action List widget visually displays the actions associated with the specific user currently logged in, providing a shortcut to their action list. Available exclusively for Tenants, this widget allows them to customize the title, label, colour, and action list displayed within the widget.

Action List Overview Widget​

The Action List Overview widget visually displaya all actions in the list for all currently logged-in users, providing a shortcut to the collective action list. Exclusive to Tenants, this widget allows them to customise the title, label, colour, and action list shown within the widget.

PDCA List Widget​

The PDCA List widget presents a clear and concise display of the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) action items. This widget is customisable, allowing Tenants to define the title, label, colour, and PDCA list that will be displayed. The widget contains five folders: Inbox, Plan, Do, Check, and Act, which enable users to drag and drop items across these folders. Additionally, the list items can be sorted within each folder to suit the users' preferences. Furthermore, users have the option to archive or escalate items to prioritise their actions.
