Widgets
Widgets in the Facts platform are customizable visual elements that display real-time telemetry data from devices and offer a variety of insights. They enhance the dashboard's functionality by providing users with tools to monitor, analyze, and interact with data. Here's an overview of the widgets available in Facts:
1. Latest State Widget
Displays the most recent telemetry data from a selected device. Users can choose a device and specific capability to monitor its latest data, with optional conditional formatting to highlight critical values based on predefined conditions.
2. Microsoft 365 Widget
Enables embedding Microsoft Office documents, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word files, directly into the dashboard. By integrating with SharePoint and Office for the web, users can seamlessly share and display documents without additional installations or downloads.
3. Canvas Widget
Provides a versatile interface for creating and interacting with visual data representations. Users can draw and organize elements like nodes, legends, lines, and labels to visualize complex data structures or designs, ideal for tasks requiring high customization.
4. Power BI Widget
Integrates Power BI's advanced visualization capabilities into the dashboard, allowing users to create and interact with detailed analytics without leaving the platform. This widget supports real-time data insights and enhances decision-making with Power BI’s extensive chart library.
5. Embedded Application Widget
Allows users to embed custom web applications via an iframe, providing flexibility and interactivity. Users can configure widget names, adjust iframe settings, and set permissions policies, ensuring a secure and tailored experience.
6. Analytical Value Average Chart
Displays the average value of a selected metric over a specific time frame. Users can also view minimum, maximum, and trend values for a comprehensive analysis of performance.
7. Analytical Line Chart
Visualizes historical telemetry data over time, helping users track changes and identify trends. Multiple metrics can be plotted simultaneously for in-depth comparative analysis.
8. Analytical Heat Map
Uses color gradients to represent data intensity or frequency, making it easy to identify patterns and hotspots in large datasets. Ideal for visualizing high-dimensional or highly variable data.
9. Analytical Value Sum Chart
Focuses on the cumulative sum of data points for a chosen metric, providing an aggregated view useful for monitoring total output or progress.
10. Analytical Scatter Plot
Displays data points on two axes to explore relationships between variables. This chart is excellent for identifying correlations, patterns, and outliers.
11. Analytical Donut Chart
A circular chart that illustrates proportions by dividing a whole into segments. Similar to a pie chart but with a central area removed, it’s useful for visualizing part-to-whole relationships.
12. Analytical Bar Chart
Represents historical telemetry data in a bar format, useful for comparing values across categories or time intervals. Offers a clear and intuitive way to analyze categorical data.
13. Analytical Pareto Chart
Highlights the most significant factors in a dataset by sorting bars from largest to smallest. This chart supports the Pareto principle (80/20 rule) to prioritize impactful contributors.
14. Calendar Widget
Tracks and organizes events and incidents within manufacturing processes. Built on the Datasets foundation, it provides a visual timeline for managing shop floor activities and ensures timely responses to incidents.
15. Time Series Chart
Visualizes data points over successive intervals, making it ideal for tracking trends, patterns, and cycles. Especially useful in IoT and manufacturing environments for continuous monitoring.
16. Action Management Widget
Streamlines the management of actions within manufacturing, digitizing the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. This widget supports efficient tracking, real-time updates, and structured process improvement directly from the shop floor.
Widgets in Facts provide a powerful suite of tools for real-time monitoring, data analysis, and operational efficiency, tailored to meet the needs of diverse industries.
