📄️ Colours
Colours serve as indicators in dashboard templates. The Host can specify a colour label and its corresponding colour code.
📄️ Data sources
A data source is a data schema that feeds information into dashboards. Hosts define the schema for each data source, which essentially determines how the data is represented in the software. If the data source is an external file, such as an Excel sheet, the schema defined in Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing must match the table layout of the Excel file. Tenants populate the data sources with data. Data sources are defined by the Host as templates only. Tenants can import and export data for data sources either from Excel or by manually populating it.
📄️ Dashboard Templates
The Dashboard Templates screen enables Hosts to design dashboard templates, which are subsequently used by Tenants. Tenants are restricted to creating dashboards based on these pre-defined templates. Each template consists of one or more widgets that are grouped by category.
📄️ Category
A category is a classification method that groups widgets together based on shared characteristics or features.
📄️ Widgets
A widget is a configurable, self-contained element within a dashboard designed to display relevant information about manufacturing processes. Widgets possess native browser compatibility for full-screen viewing. Several widgets are available for use, as detailed in the sections below.
📄️ Tenant dashboards
Tenant Dashboards are functional dashboards created from existing dashboard templates. Tenants can customise the thumbnail and descriptions for each dashboard. Although widgets within Tenant dashboards cannot be altered, Tenants are allowed to incorporate their own widgets into the dashboards. Adding categories to Tenant dashboards is not possible. Whenever a widget is populated with data, it is automatically saved.
📄️ Users
A user is a person using Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing. Users have roles assigned to them. External users can only sign in using Azure Active Directory B2C, while internal users sign in using a password and email.
📄️ Roles
A role defines the permissions associated with it. There is a default admin role that comes with the framework that MDI is built upon and an MDI Host admin role that contains all the permissions required for Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing.
📄️ Dynamic properties
Dynamic properties allow for the addition of properties, such as extra fields in user profile information.
📄️ Organisation units
Organisation units are not currently used. However, they allow you to group other organization units, members, or roles under a certain name. This structure enables these parameters to exist as a single entity for later reuse.
📄️ Action holder group
This feature enables Tenants to organise multiple users into a group so that actions can be assigned collectively. If a user is a member of an action group, and the action is assigned to the group rather than directly to the user, the total number of actions for that user will be calculated, including those assigned to the group.
📄️ Action lists
An Action list represents a collection of tasks, which are created by Tenants and subsequently added to the list. Tenants can customise action states, define specific areas, and categorise actions as needed.
📄️ PDCA lists
Similar to action management, PDCA lists revolve around the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act). PDCA states do not possess categories. PDCA items follow a designated sequence of folders, including inbox, plan, do, check, and act, representing the order in which items should progress. This approach is an integral component of lean manufacturing principles.
📄️ Audit logs
Logs record system activity. Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing has three types of logs:
📄️ Caches
Caching is available for specific functionality. Hosts can clear all caches or individual functional caches.
📄️ Edition
An edition determines the specific functionalities that are available within an Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing software package. This feature is currently not in use.
📄️ Languages
Localisation languages for the user interface. Host users can modify UI translations.
📄️ Notifications
Users receive notifications within the software on the user interface and through email. Notifications are set per user.
📄️ Settings
Global settings for the software.
📄️ Webhook subscriptions
Webhooks include a custom endpoint (using the Inimco.facts Lean Manufacturing app's base URL) and associated events. Webhooks can have custom headers assigned.
