What is an Organization?

info

The 'Organization' section is designed to help you systematically structure your company's analytical data. This feature is crucial for establishing a hierarchy that reflects your business's operational framework.

In our portal, organizations allow you to define a logical structure to manage related resources within the Facts customer portal. Users can create multiple organizations, each functioning as an independent entity.

Organizations can be customized to meet the specific needs of various aspects of your business, such as departments or regional offices. Creating a new organization involves simply naming it. You can then populate it with organizational units and further enhance these units by associating relevant devices.

What are Organizational Units?

info

Each organization has an organizational tree. This tree can consist of multiple organizational units, where each organizational unit on its part can consist of zero or more organizational (sub)-units (defined by the children relationship). Organizational Units are akin to branches or teams within your company.

Every organizational unit can also have zero or more devices linked to it. These units help in structuring your organization hierarchically and geographically.
