This section describes operations that a Subscription access level user can perform with Data sets.

What are datasets in Inimco.facts?

Datasets in Facts are structured collections of data that have been prepared and formatted for easy use in reporting and visualization tasks. These datasets are constructed based on standardized templates that are established at the platform level, ensuring consistency and reliability. Users can generate new datasets by utilizing these predefined templates, which simplifies the process of dataset creation and ensures integration with the platform's overall architecture. Once created, these datasets are readily accessible within a user's specific subscription, enabling a streamlined approach to viewing and handling data. This framework not only facilitates the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and visualization but also maintains data integrity across the board.

What can we do with the datasets in Inimco.facts?

  • View All Data Sets: Access a complete inventory of datasets available within your subscription.
  • Filter Data Sets: Refine the list of datasets using specific criteria to quickly find what you need.
  • Add a New Data Set: Create a new dataset, likely using predefined templates, to enhance your reporting and data visualization capabilities.

Procedures

View all data sets

  1. Log in to Inimco.facts.
  2. Navigate to Data sets.

Filter data sets by name

  1. Log in to Inimco.facts.
  2. Navigate to Data sets.
  3. Select the filter icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Enter the name you want to use for filtering into the Name field.
  5. Click APPLY FILTERS.

Filter data sets by description

  1. Log in to Inimco.facts.
  2. Navigate to Data sets.
  3. Select the filter icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Enter the description you want to use for filtering into the Description field.
  5. Click APPLY FILTERS.

Filter data sets by date

  1. Log in to Inimco.facts.
  2. Navigate to Data sets.
  3. Select the filter icon in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Select the dates you want to use for filtering from the Updated field.
  5. Click APPLY FILTERS.

Add a new data set

  1. Log in to Inimco.facts.
  2. Navigate to Help Desk.
  3. Select + in the top right corner of the screen.
  4. Enter the data set name into the Name field.
  5. Enter the data set description into the Description field.
  6. Select the data set template from the Dataset template field.
  7. Click CONFIRM.
